Tax Department as a part of Asset Servicing Operations is at the heart of Euroclear core activity and plays a significant role by dealing with complex Tax cases for hundreds of clients.

Tax Operation department has about 100 people, based in Cracow, Brussels & Hong-Kong. Our department provides tax relief and refund services for customers around the whole world. We are responsible for collecting tax documentation, reporting it to local depositories or Tax Authorities, verifying and inputting it into our system.

Applying the most favourable tax rate, based on client disclosure and applicable tax regime, to interest payments and dividend distributions. Introducing and assisting in the reimbursement of tax refund requests. Fulfilling reporting responsibilities towards local depositories and Tax Authorities.
