About this role

We are seeking talented engineering interns to join our team and to actively contribute to the development of innovative solutions for recycling analytics. The ideal candidate will be highly-motivated, eager to work on an industrial-edge-ai with environmental impact, capable of working autonomously and in small teams, and have a strong desire to solve exciting and challenging applied problems. You will be working with the UpCircle Station, our industrial-AI edge system, live inside recycling plants, running 24/7 in environments with dust, vibration, and intermittent connectivity. We're looking for an intern to help us harden and scale the UpCircle Station fleet: better reliability, better remote operability, sharper sensor fusion.

Responsibilities

• Improve the Station firmware and edge stack (Linux + containers) running in production plants.
