Nature of the Work

A significant portion of this position involves job-embedded coaching. The consultant will work alongside teachers, support staff, professionals, and administrators through co-planning, modelling, observation, feedback and reflective practice to build sustainable capacity and improve student outcomes.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to school teams working with at-risk students and students with difficulty codes in an inclusive environment and/or a more specialized setting.
• Model evidence-based instructional, behavioural, and social-emotional learning strategies within classrooms and specialized settings.
• Support staff through classroom observation, co-planning, co-teaching, feedback cycles, and reflective practice to build sustainable capacity within school teams.
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of intervention plans.
