6 Month Contract With A local Authority

Job Purpose: To provide high-quality psychological assessments and evidence-based advice as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) process. The role supports children and young people with Special Educational Needs by assessing their strengths and needs, recommending appropriate provision, and contributing to positive educational outcomes in line with statutory requirements and Council quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake psychological assessments of children and young people as part of statutory SEN processes.
• Produce high-quality psychological advice to support Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).
• Assess and identify children's strengths, needs, outcomes, and appropriate provision recommendations.
