POSITION SUMMARY
The Educator for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing helps reduce the developmental impact of identified hearing loss for preschoolers and their families residing in Prairie Mountain Health.

Overview:
Organizes, prioritizes and assumes responsibility for caseload. Applies training knowledge and skill to provide optimum individualized and continuous assessment and treatment for assigned preschoolers who are identified as Deaf or hard of hearing. Provides direct habilitative programming to children enrolled in the program. Collaborates with clients and the family/guardian on the planning, implementation, and progression of the treatment plan, providing education and counseling to the client and family member/guardian.
