What a typical day looks like:
Supervise a team of EHS technicians, ensuring proper execution of safety and environmental activities.
Collaborate with all departments in the design, implementation, and improvement of safety, fire prevention, and environmental compliance programs.
Review plans and specifications of machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
Perform plant walkthroughs to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Define personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and ensure proper implementation of safety devices.
