Position Overview

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings before start of work day
  • Daily site walk inspections to ensure safety compliance
  • Assist with job safety analysis, job instruction training, safe work procedures and method statements
  • Conduct safety audits
  • Manage the permit to work system and ensure rules and regulations are in accordance with relevant procedures
  • Investigate and report all incidents to Safety Officer / Safety Manager and recommend actions to prevent future recurrence
  • Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors and relevant authorities on matters pertaining to safety
  • Conduct safety training for workers
  • Attending to other ad hoc matters assigned by the Safety Officer / Safety Manager
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum NITEC / Professional Certification in any field
  • Preferably with some experience in Mechanical Engineering field
