**Job Summary and Qualifications**

** The EKG Tech functions as a resource person to physicians and their staff, family members and hospital staff. Prepare patients and perform Electrocardiograms, and other tests within their scope of practice. **

**What you will do in this role: **

**· You will operate electrocardiograph equipment to record electromotive variations in heart muscle actions.**

**· You will prepare patients for electrocardiograms by explaining testing procedures, fastening to, and removing electrodes from specific areas of arms, legs, and chest.**
