Hi there, my name is Cecilia and I am seeking a compassionate and reliable care provider to come on weekends. My dad Robbie had a brain injury a year and a half ago, he’s 68 but needs someone with him to guide his day / day as his memory was severely damaged. He can fluctuate from peaceful and calm to agitated and confused, repeating thoughts and does best with gentle guidance. This is a part-time, live-out position to give myself ( his primary care taker ) a break. The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive, creative in activities and things to do together, offer meaningful discussions, and be able to help with personal care if needed ( dads usually continent but needs cueing at times and assistance with wiping )
The working hours are 12-7 Saturday and Sunday ( with an extra one hours pay for driving expenses if you’re coming from Lethbridge )
