POSITION TITLE: Final Assembly Electrical Lead Hand

SALARY: $39 to $43 per hour

Purpose of Role

Advocating on behalf of the company and cooperatively supporting all company policies, procedures, initiatives, and direction, The Lead Hand is responsible for a) assisting the Production Supervisor with the execution of specific administrative and Supervisory tasks, b) providing “Second in Command” back-up during absence of the Supervisor, and c) for providing direct labor capacity within the department of their discipline when not executing the duties and responsibilities of a) or b) above.

• Assist the Plant Manager and/or Production Supervisor;
  • Monitor work center priorities, organize parts if required, and assign work orders to workers based upon priority, environment, and skill set.
  • Ensure “work order notes” are applied to any work orders that cannot be completed.
