The E4 Electrical Controls Engineer provides senior‑level technical leadership for assigned automation projects, with responsibility for guiding electrical and controls solutions from early concept through implementation. In this role, the engineer reviews and influences machine and system designs, ensuring technical soundness, cost effectiveness, and alignment with manufacturing and business objectives. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include translating grass‑roots automation concepts into scalable electrical and controls architectures, defining system requirements, evaluating and selecting PLC platforms, robotics solutions, and control hardware, and overseeing the development of detailed electrical designs using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent tools.
