We are hiring a Electronics & Electrical Engineer who will provide technical support for NPI and product transfer, assess and improve supplier piece-parts, and work collaboratively to resolve material issues.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate alternative materials or suppliers to maintain competitive quality, assure supply and/or pricing of piece-parts.
• Provide technical support for New Product Introduction and Product Transfer.
• Assist manufacturing in resolving material-related issues and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Provide technical support in terms of specification interpretation, adequacy of existing documentation, disposition of non-conforming materials, and training on the usage of inspection measuring equipment.
• Identify and plan for inspection and test requirements needed for adequate assessment of the quality of incoming piece-parts.
