Position Summary

The Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical design HDLC units such as Inrow CDU and Inrack CDU, as well as 2 phase products. He/she will closely follow objectives of quality, environment and costs while working in cooperation with manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, procurement, suppliers, mechanical engineering, and product marketing.

Responsibilities

• Design new and low voltage electrical enclosures (>240 volts AC).
• Harness design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment.
• Experience with CREO Cabling module is preferred.
• Select appropriate electrical components that meet agency requirements (UL, NEC, CSA, CE).
• Collaborate with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing.
