Job Purpose The Electrical Engineer / Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of shipboard electrical systems for new-build vessels. The role ensures that all electrical works are executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and construction schedules.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise the installation of shipboard electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, navigation, communication, CCTV, alarm, and monitoring systems.
- Coordinate and monitor cable routing, cable tray installation, cable pulling, termination, and cable penetration sealing works.
- Oversee the installation and wiring of switchboards, motor control centres, control panels, junction boxes, sensors, and associated electrical equipment.
