FortisBC is looking for a third or fourth-year Electrical Engineering co-op student to join their Transmission & Distribution standards team. You'll gain practical skills while assisting in the design and drafting of construction standards for overhead and underground lines. This role includes site visits, technical support for operations, and networking with other utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in design and drafting of utility standards
• Conduct site visits to analyze the Transmission and Distribution system
• Provide technical support to the Operations team
• Research new utility products and practices
• Network with other utilities in the field
