This position is hired under the Operations department and carries a dual mandate.
From day one through terminal handover, you will be fully dedicated to electrical commissioning activities, embedded alongside the Projects team to bring all systems online safely and on schedule.
Once commissioning is complete and the terminal transitions to full operations, you will shift into your permanent role as Electrical Lead for the Operations team - building and leading the maintenance crew responsible for keeping all electrical systems running at a bulk cement import terminal
Responsibilities:
Lead electrical commissioning activities from first energization through handover
Perform megger testing on large motors and high-voltage equipment
Verify and validate I/O signals between field devices and control systems
