The Product Design Engineer is responsible for the entire accessory product development process from program start through production launch which includes sourcing, design, development, testing and manufacturing.
**Position qualifications & experience requirements**:
Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar
- 2+ years of experience with design and release engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical product design, electrical systems, or wiring design experience
- Proficiency in CAD/Teamcenter and/or schematic design software
- Review and understand vehicle content assigned to a program per the Program Direction Offer (PDO)
- Capable of identifying product content in vehicle CAD environment, building CAD buck environment.Technical aptitude, desire to learn electrical test tools and technologies
