Attends to electrical equipment breakdowns including LV and MV motors, LV switchboards, MCCs, plant lighting, transformers, UPS systems, VFDs, breakers, soft starters and other electrical equipment. Carries out planned preventive and predictive maintenance with minimal supervision. Identifies and reports equipment abnormalities and performs repairs or replacements as required, reassembles and tests equipment and leaves the work area clean and safe. Assesses the technical requirements of assigned jobs and selects the appropriate tools and equipment to complete the work efficiently. Diagnoses electrical breakdowns and troubleshoots plant and equipment failures with minimal or no supervision. Uses the SAP computerized maintenance management system to order spare parts from the warehouse and maintain accurate maintenance records.
