Overview
This position will be responsible for maintenance/construction activities around high voltage (up to 345 kV) substations and transmission lines. This will require an extensive amount of travel throughout the US. This person must have a “safety first” attitude with an understanding of doing the job right the first time.
Responsibilities
Working in and around wind turbinesAbility to professionally interact with customers and coworkers on a daily basisAbility to perform maintenance/construction on electrical collection systems including underground cable faults, pad-mount transformers, switchgears, T-Bodies, Splices and Wind turbine wiring up to 34.5 kVAttend safety meetings and complete safety paperwork on a daily basisDemonstrate safety as a top priorityComplete an inventory of material on a daily/weekly basisDiagnose and fix any problem that could cause the electrical system to be shut down...
