Job Purpose
The Electrician is responsible for carrying out electrical installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and fault-finding activities for a water treatment plant project on an operational mine site. The role ensures all electrical work meets safety standards, regulations, and SANS requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Install, test, and commission electrical systems and equipment for the water treatment plant.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
Perform inspection, testing, and fault-finding on electrical installations to ensure safe operation.
Ensure compliance with mine site rules, regulations, and relevant standards.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and safety personnel to ensure work completion.
