Position Overview
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree / B Tech Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Economics, Engineering, Energy Studies, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field as recognized by SAQA
A postgraduate qualification in Energy Economics, Power Systems, or Applied Economics will be an advantage
Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in electricity markets, energy analytics, economic analysis, or regulatory analysis
Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools
Exposure to electricity market operations, pricing mechanisms, or system dispatch is desirable The candidate must be competent in the following:
Strong Analytical and Quantitative Skills
Ability to interpret complex market data and translate insights into regulatory recommendations
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
