Summary The position is located at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (OKCVAHCS) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is assigned to the Facilities Management Service (FMS). The Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic receives general work related instructions or assignments. This position primarily conducts duties at the OKCVAHCS, but at times may be required to travel to the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in the catchment area. Responsibilities Major Duties of this position include but are not limited to: Mastery of direct digital control (DDC) systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and building automation systems Performs preventative maintenance inspections and tasks on electronic Fire systems and related components to determine wear, reliability and load capabilities.
