Summary This position is located within Facilities Management Service (FMS) at the Lexington VA Health Care System- a two-division medical center. Incumbent is assigned to one division but may be periodically assigned to the other campus to gain experience or for coverage purposes. Responsibilities The incumbent serves as an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic responsible for the installation, modification, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of complex electronic control systems and building automation systems (BAS)/Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) that support critical healthcare operations. The work involves systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, electronic, and digital controls to maintain environmental conditions required for patient care, research, and life safety systems.
