Job Purpose

The ELV Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of ELV-related infrastructures within the Data Centre, including CCTV, Fire Alarm, Facility Services, Access Control, Building Management System (BMS), Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and related systems. The role ensures high availability and optimal performance of ELV infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, minor modifications, and fault finding on ELV systems.
• Conduct functional testing and maintenance checks on Fire Alarm, Fire suppression (ASD), emergency lighting, CCTV, access control, BMS, DCIM, Vesda system, PLCs, and other ELV equipment.
• Respond to first‑line help‑desk calls for on‑site ELV failures.
• Adhere to company procedures, policies, and COSHH regulations, and use PPE where required.
• Interpret ELV schematic diagrams, control diagrams, and circuit schematics.
