Embedded System Test Engineer, Python


Hybrid work, 1-year contract, with 4 days of work required on-site in Ottawa. 



Responsibilities

-Requirement Analysis and review to define Test Strategy for Black Box testing which includes Functional and Integration level Testing

-Testcase Authoring Testcase Automation Test environment setup [Jenkins]

-Analyze Test execution Results Defect creation Defect reproduction and support Defect Triage Continuous quality improvement by analyzing the leaked defects and enhancing the Testcases



Required Qualifications

-Embedded software testing experience (3-5 years of experience)

-Blackbox testing for embedded systems

-Automotive protocols CAN/LIN experience

-Test methodologies - requires a good understanding of how requirements translate to testcases

-Must have experience with embedded Software automation testing on HW
