Summary The Los Angeles VA Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Management Specialist to support the facility's all-hazards emergency preparedness and response program. The incumbent assists in developing and implementing emergency management plans and protocols, conducts hazard analyses, coordinates with internal and external partners, manages logistics and resource readiness to ensure the medical center can effectively respond to emergencies. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to: Supports development, implementation, and evaluation of emergency management plans, protocols, and guidelines. Coordinates and collaborates with VAMC, VISN, VHA OEM, and federal, state, and local partners on EM planning and response.
