Major/Essential Functions
Direct Patient Care: serves patients in the health facility under the direction of a physician and within the scope of practice of an EMT.Emergency Response: Provide emergent, urgent, and routine medical response and basic life support to patients in the medical facility, utilizing CPR and necessary equipment.Patient Assessments: Evaluate patients' current medical conditions, including medical history, current medications, past medications, and other treatment services.Clinical Activity Documentation: Documents timely, clearly, and concisely; medical conditions and health needs, medical treatment and history, including currently prescribed medications, and ongoing medical service in the patient's medical record.Medication Administration: Administers prescribed treatments and medications ordered by the provider.Provides Clinical Assistance: Provides su...
