Overview

The Public Prosecutor's Office and Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of Glarus is responsible for the prosecution of crimes, offences, and violations. It works closely with the Glarus Cantonal Police. Furthermore, it is the first-instance administrative authority responsible for administrative measures in road traffic and handles mutual legal assistance requests in criminal matters.

We are looking for a Clerk with Investigative Authority 100% from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement, with the workplace in Glarus.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducting criminal investigations against adults concerning violations, in particular by drafting penal orders, rulings, and other correspondence as well as conducting interrogations
• Assisting in offences against the Road Traffic Act, especially in the preparation of penal orders
• General secretarial and office work as well as supporting the team in daily business
