**Description:**
Delivers timely and effective emergency medical care to patients of all ages in both emergency and nonemergency situations, ensuring stabilization and/or resuscitation as needed due to illness or injury. Responds to ambulance calls, follows established system protocols and NIMS standards for scene
management, and accurately document all care provided. When available, assists in the Emergency Department with delegated tasks such as basic assessments, vital signs, and documentation, as well as performing decontamination, cleaning, and restocking of equipment. Adheres to MercyOne’s performance expectations and upholds the Mission, Vision, and Values of MercyOne.
