Position Overview

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC) is seeking a full‑time Endocrinologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside an endocrinology internist to provide a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient endocrinology services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient endocrinology care, including diabetes management, in a well‑established diabetes centre.
• Develop and expand diabetes and endocrinology services throughout Northern British Columbia.
• Participate in on‑call Internal Medicine rotation (no more than 1/7 of shifts).
• Teach on the Clinical Teaching Unit (CTU) and contribute to medical student and resident education.
• Collaborate with specialist nurses and other internal medicine subspecialists to deliver coordinated patient care.
