Position Overview

Description
Key Responsibilities:
Field Technician (β‰ˆ50%):
- Desktop/L2-L3 support (Mostly Windows)
- Imaging & device setup (Intune, Autopilot, some SCCM)
- Supporting ~2000 end users globally
Device Management / Engineering (β‰ˆ50%):
- Own and enhance devices
- Build and optimize Autopilot deployments
- Manage persona-based provisioning
Example: Automate access by role (finance, tax, hr, etc.)
Technical Focus:
- Good Azure experience and familiarity with Azure networks & tools (Entra, Intune, Windows Autopilot)
- Advanced Intune knowledge
- Autopilot configuration (not just usage)
- Endpoint automation and policy/compliance management
- OS lifecycle & compliance
- Windows updates, security standards
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Environment & Scale
~2,000+ End User ecosystem (Sony Electronics)
Joining a global team of ~10 field techs
Strong interpersonal skills (previous candidates failed here)
