The Energy Portfolio Analyst serves as the central hub for energy planning, procurement strategy, and financial optimization.
Responsible for performing unit commitment, load forecasting, and next-day/hourly energy marketing activities.
Evaluates weather, transmission service impacts, guides wholesale market transactions, and supports System Operations in economic dispatch decisions.
Coordinates on outage planning, operational testing, and financial settlement activities, including regular reporting and reconciliation of power purchases and oversees portfolio operations.
Engages in energy transactions that balance reliability with cost-effectiveness.
