The Civil and Structural Engineer provides competent, independent civil and structural engineering support on projects of limited to moderate complexity, under the guidance of senior engineers. The role contributes to the design, coordination and delivery of safe, compliant structural solutions, applying established engineering principles, WSP standards and relevant regulatory requirements to achieve high‑quality project outcomes.

The role supports delivery across the full project lifecycle—from concept and design development through documentation, authority submissions, and site support to project completion—and ensures work outputs meet quality and SHEQ expectations. In line with JAF P2 (Professional/Engineer) expectations, the role focuses on executing preliminary and detailed designs, supporting design calculations and documentation, and contributing to construction review and resolution of technical issue.
