Our client is seeking a Sr. Engineer to design and deliver world-class Closures Systems for electric vehicle platforms. This position is a contract role based onsite in Southfield, MI . The ideal candidate is highly motivated, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

Design and develop automotive Closures Structures such as hoods, fenders, doors, decklids, and liftgates, with a focus on aluminum or composite materials and kinematic systems

Deliver high-performance, lightweight, durable, and cost-optimized systems at both system and component levels

Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to integrate multiple systems efficiently

Work with cross-functional teams including Safety, Dynamics, NVH, Durability, Manufacturing, and Design

Use CAE analysis results to guide and improve designs
