Main Purpose and Function
The Engineering Assistant III (EA III) is a part of a multi-disciplinary team that prepares GRI designs for construction in right-of-ways and other public spaces. The position focuses on drafting and drawing production and undertakes a variety of other duties including field work, research, and technical and administrative tasks in the Green Rainwater Infrastructure Branch.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities
Drafts conceptual, intermediate, and final designs of moderate to higher complexity using AutoCAD
Assembles plan sets for various project stages including tendering and issues for final construction and post-construction as-built/record drawings.
Performs construction site inspections, prepares field reports and supports the engineer of record and project manager with site instructions and change orders.
