Engineering Intern – South Africa (Centurion)

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an enthusiastic student for an Engineering Intern position in our Centurion office. The ideal candidate must be based in South Africa for this position. Applicants who recently graduated or are in their final year in electrical, power systems or power engineering are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL processes and technologies.
• Perform testing on new and existing technology.
• Document and communicate test results.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or current final year student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical/Power Engineering.
• Ability to work full time.
• Interest in electrical power systems, protection and control.
• Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers.
