The ideal candidate would be responsible for
Managing his team - both Mechanical and Electrical
Maintaining discipline and time-keeping
Control of resources: Labour & spares
Compliance with all management and safety programmes within the company
20 Keys, Planned maintenance, OHSAct, Meat safety
Managing Engineering downtime
Assist with budgets and capital projects
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements
Matric or N3
Be in possession of a Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter or Electrician or Millwright
5 years Poultry abattoir maintenance experience including 1 year at supervisor/team leader level
Own reliable transport
Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage
Must be able to work overtime, shifts, weekends and public holidays
