Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance for the ALCOR and MMW radar antenna electro-mechanical systems.
Electrical work including fabrication, repair, troubleshooting, and/or installation of cable harnesses, control system wiring, power distribution panels, signal and power wiring to individual components or sensors, etc.
Electrically integrating new or replacement components into existing system.
Utilize lock out tag out procedures.
Participate with fellow engineers on the design and implementation of improvement and modernization (I&M) projects involving electrical subsystems.
Proactively provide design inputs or equipment modifications and repairs in areas that would benefit from improvement.
Climb and work heights up to 50 feet.
Maintain current spare parts inventory and procure parts as required.
