POSITION TITLE: English/Spanish Translator - Front Office Support



RECRUITED BY: Director, Bilingual Services Department





IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director, Bilingual Services Department

POSITION SUMMARY:

The translator should have the ability to understand and accept the philosophy of the Bilingual Education Department in reference to the education of English Learners (ELs), have basic knowledge of bilingual education and its terminology, and have excellent English & Spanish (listening, speaking, reading and writing) skills.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


+ Must be bilingual/bicultural in Spanish and English

+ Advanced knowledge of written Spanish and English

+ College degree required

+ Must be able to use Google Suite (including advanced knowledge of Google Sheets)
