**Job Summary**

Under minimal supervision and oversight, the Environmental Technician is responsible for the performance of environmental inspections, data management, and reporting requirements to comply with environmental compliance programs, permit requirements, and corporate environmental policies, standards, procedures and strategic environmental goals within their assigned region, plant and project scope. The Environmental Technician will provide environmental compliance field support during and after construction for a variety of construction project types. Responsibilities include performance of inspections, collection of data, and the development of reports to demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements at multiple AEP assets within the assigned region within regulatory time frames.
