Surgery SEH

Our equine surgical unit is led by registered specialists and highly experienced equine surgeons trained to world-best standards. Veterinary anaesthetists, qualified nurses and veterinary interns and fellows support the surgeons as part of a co-ordinated team. Our 24 hour surgical service for SEH and referral clients is an essential component of the care we provide for critical cases such as those requiring colic surgery or caesarean section. There are over 2000 procedures undertaken annually, making this is one the busiest equine surgical facilities in Australia.
