**Job Title: Equipment Mechanic**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and replacing parts on a variety of heavy equipment and fleet vehicles in a shop setting, with occasional field work at construction sites. You will use your mechanical expertise to keep equipment safe, reliable, and operating efficiently to support ongoing construction projects.

**Responsibilities**

+ Inspect heavy equipment and fleet vehicles to identify mechanical issues, wear, and potential failures.
+ Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of parts on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles in a shop environment.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical problems using construction and diesel mechanic knowledge to determine root causes and appropriate repairs.
+ Conduct equipment repairs in the field, including on roadways and sidewalk construction sites, as needed.
