SALARY RANGE: $36,316.80 ($17.46 an hr) - $39,208.00 ($18.85 an hr)

Purpose of Classification

The purpose of this classification is to operate equipment and perform manual work functions associated with transportation of materials and construction, maintenance and repair of county landfills, roads, bridges, and drainage systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of tenth grade level education required; one year of experience in operating equipment and performing manual labor, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License. Required to possess and maintain a valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License Class A.
