Position Overview
Responsible for assisting the surgical team before, during, and after surgery, maintaining a sterile environment.�
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Manages supplies in all areas of the operating room, works along material management. Inventory control and stocking of supplies. Skills include High reliability, organization, prioritizing, attention to detail and communication.
2. inventory control of sterile supplies, checking outdates and PAR levels
3. works with SPD, clinical coordinators and business partner with the OR schedule and case management
4. Monitors schedule for emergencies, coordinating with charge RN
5. Communication with material coordinators on supply replenishments.
6. case cart assembly: select, pull and organize sterile instrument trays and supplies on case carts
7. Restock supply shelves, communicate to proper personnel supply isssues.
