ESOL Tutor - Barnet

Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed ESOL Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils in or around Barnet to support children with English support.

In this role, you will create and deliver bespoke lessons aimed at bridging learning gaps, boosting confidence, and helping students reconnect with education. Many of the pupils you support may have been away from mainstream education for some time, so a patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition sessions based on each student's individual needs
Provide support ESOL/EAL/English support.
Encourage confidence, independence, and effective study habits
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/carers where required

Requirements

QTS, TEFL, ESOL equivalent teaching qualification, or relevant learning support experience
