Role objective Hire an Estimation Engineer to support bid/tender pricing and cost estimation for Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems, ideally with experience in a construction/MEP environment.
Requirements Must-have requirements - 5 to 7 years experience in estimation for Fire Alarm and/or Fire Fighting systems
- Background in construction company / MEP contractor is strongly preferred (or fire systems company is acceptable)
- Strong knowledge of suppliers and vendor market
- Existing relationships with suppliers and ability to negotiate pricing and lead times
- Proven ability to prepare: Quotations and proposals (including technical + commercial inputs)
Preferred background - Worked with a fire systems contractor or construction/MEP contractor handling fire protection scope
