Job Overview

Fixed term contract with highly reputable company. The role covers all aspects of estimating production costs for sales enquiries and confirmed orders. Post completion review of estimations to identify potential process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Determine ideal production flow (together with production planning department) to form basis for estimation
• Management and prioritisation of tasks to ensure service levels are maintained
• Post production review of estimation compared to actual cost. Update estimation processes where systematic differences are identified
• Support extra cost recovery process
• Maintain estimation system including maintaining hourly rates and reviewing performance criteria with Operations team
• Adapt estimation system where necessary for new production processes or equipment
