• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other technical documents in order to prepare estimates
• Develop and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of roofing types, materials and systems
• Assembled accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner
• Collaborates with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates
• Maintains relationships with sub-contractors and clients
• Needs to understand contractual terms and conditions
• Provides explicit and detailed take-offs
• Organizes sub-contractor quotations
• Evaluates a tender’s cost-effectiveness and profitability
• Meets with potential clients to discuss options for proposed services
