About the Opportunity

The City of Penticton is looking for a temporary (3 months) full‑time Facilities Maintenance I - Uncertified, based in Penticton, B.C. Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible for custodial/janitorial duties, minor building & equipment repairs, and facility rental meeting room set‑up and tear‑down.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and perform cleaning duties including washing bathrooms, change rooms, corridors, viewing areas, common areas, pool decks, slides, saunas, drains and benches. Empties and replaces garbage and recycling bags. Restocks & replenishes sanitary & janitorial supplies as required.
• Set up tables, chairs, etc. in Community Centre and meeting rooms according to general plans and modify as required based on user requests.
