**Facilities Maintenance Technician**

**Job Description**

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA General Industrial Safety Standards and Construction Safety Standards. This role involves carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on machines, equipment, plant facilities, and grounds, ensuring uninterrupted operation and production capabilities. The technician will act as a backup in the absence of the Senior Maintenance and Facilities Technician or Supervisor.

**Responsibilities**

+ Ensure adherence to 29 CFR 1910 OSHA General Industrial Safety Standards and 29 CFR 1926 Construction Safety Standards for facilities services staff and supervised contracted service personnel.
+ Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on machines, equipment, plant facilities, and grounds, including steam boilers, HVAC systems, electrical systems, water treatment systems, and other utility systems.
